Money Smart Week to provide financial tips (Lake County Journals)

ANTIOCH ? ?Focusing on Your Financial Future? will be presented Tuesday, April 22, at Antioch Community High School as part of Money Smart Week, a series of free classes and activities designed to help consumers manage their personal finances. The annual program is organized by the Federal Reserve Bank and numerous financial institutions.

Virtually fatal (Lake County News Sun)

At first glance, Antioch Community High School students seemed to be enjoying a carnival and nice weather Tuesday, but a closer look painted a darker picture. Mannequins of an unrestrained adult and child violently careened out of the windows of a vehicle in a simulated rollover presented by Illinois State Police.

Army Spec. Robert Coffman , son of Rist and Patricia Coffman of Antioch, has returned to Alaska after being deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Coffman is assigned to the 725th Brigade Support Battalion, a subordinate unit of the 4th Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division at Fort Richardson, Anchorage. He is a 2004 graduate of Antioch Community High School.

Police prep Antioch students for prom night temptations (Daily Herald)

About 900 Antioch High School students got to see how difficult driving would be if they decide to include alcohol in Saturday's prom night festivities.
